I find breaking habits nearly impossible to do without accountability. Did the challenge with my footy club and it honestly got me through the most recent Covid lock-down in a healthy state, rather then stumbling through hungover and hating life! If you're new to mental health hygiene/fitness I'd 1000% recommend this as a starting point. Likewise if you're in a similar position as I was and need to jump back into it with some accountability and tracking.
I took part in Marcus’ 21 day mental health wellness challenge in Aug/Sep. doing this program with weekly zooms and education around mental well-being was extremely positive for me. Being able to reflect on each day and read back on my journey has opened myself up to new positive experiences and helped tremendously in myself continuing on my journey after the challenge ended.
I’ve recently just completed the mental fitness challemge. It was honestly such a life changing experience. I joined the challenge to learn how to deal with stress and all the negative things that came my way from things like work and general life things.... I learnt to relax and instead of fighting just learn to control things. The group seminars were extremely helpful and Marcus was always willing to answer any questions that myself or the others had.
Knowing the same psychologist who designed the course has your back over the 21 days was a huge confidence booster in signing up.
After my own struggles over the past few years I felt I was just existing and a bit lost in life. Over the 21 days I was shown how to take notice of the little things, refocus my mind and learn to listen to my own mind and body again.
